NHL news:Former Arizona Coyotes Captain Retires

On August 30, Arizona Coyotes Captain, Shane Doan, retires from the NHL. He was a Canadian player who played for the Winnipeg Jets before they were expanded to Arizona.  Shane Doan was the captain for the Coyotes when he retired and he was the longest player active captain when for 14 years (2003-2017). He also won 2 gold medals and 3 sliver medals in the world championships representing Team Canada.
